Kingaroy State High School Art Exhibition 2024

Kingaroy State High School is proud to present its 2024 Art Exhibition, showcasing the diverse talents of our Junior and Senior Visual Arts students. This annual exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience a wide range of creative works that reflect the artistic journey of students from Years 8 to 12.

– Senior Art: Year 12 Visual Art in Practice students have crafted a remarkable installation sculpture using recycled materials, while also creating marketable art pieces for local sales. Year 11 students have explored themes of identity and self-expression, producing works inspired by both famous artists and their own personal stories. Year 10 students have explored classic genres such as landscape, still life, and portraiture, culminating in a collection of works that celebrate Australian diversity.

– Junior Art: Year 9 students have experimented with various drawing techniques, created clay masks, and designed their own skateboard decks. Year 8 students have focused on mastering the basics of colour, line, and texture through sgraffito and pattern exploration.

This exhibition is a vibrant celebration of student creativity, offering visitors a chance to witness the next generation of artists as they refine their craft and share their artistic voices with the community. All are welcome to join us on opening night or visit throughout the month of September to enjoy this inspiring showcase.
